Of course it's openly based on Leonardo DaVinci's "Salvator Mundi", or any of a number of Renaissance-era depictions of Jesus giving a benediction with the globe in his hand. Except I painted it for an exhibition called "Sacrilege", and thus the Baphomet-like goat head. But of course he's still sacred (in a different way), so I gave him the vibrant halo too.

Ah yes. Embarressing that I didn't spot that. I love sacrilegious artwork. It's one of my specialities.
